After the great success of the first Books at the Borgo event, the excitement from that shared evening is still alive: the words that resonated within the walls of our Relais, the smiling faces, and the connection with those who chose to lose themselves in the pages created a unique and unforgettable atmosphere. That first meeting was much more than a simple book presentation: culture, emotion, and conviviality came together in a truly special experience.

“Sometimes Tree, Sometimes Wind – A Story of Returning Home”

The novel leads us through the waves of memory and the roots of the soul. Stephan, a doctor in Venice, receives an unexpected letter from his aunt Maria, calling him back to his origins on the Greek island of Leros. A journey of rediscovering family history, filled with hidden secrets and forgotten truths, in a place where time seems to have stood still. A story of return, belonging, and identity, inviting reflection on what we call “home.”

During the evening, the author Giorgio Levedianos will discuss the book with Paolo Ganz, guiding attendees step by step through the story and the characters’ emotions.

At the end of the event, a special aperitif with Greek delicacies will allow guests to immerse themselves in the spirit of the story, sharing a refined and convivial moment together.
