Summer aperitifs between history, music, and conviviality in the Citrus Courtyard
At Relais Alberti, summer is celebrated every Monday evening with an event rooted in Venetian popular tradition. From June 23rd to August 25th, we await you for The Mondays of the Old Village: a series of aperitifs at sunset in our Citrus Courtyard, designed to rediscover the pleasure of gathering, tasting, and listening – with slowness and wonder.

An ancient inspiration: “the Mondays of Lio” (I luni del Lio)
The Mondays of Lio were festive Mondays in the 18th century that enlivened the summer of the population of Lido and the lagoon islands. After the great heat, people gathered by boat or outdoors, among fields, gardens, and beaches, to dance, sing, and eat together on the grass. They wore their best clothes, decorated boats with colorful garlands, and celebrated until sunset. It was a genuine popular festival, spontaneous and communal, filled with laughter, Venetian folk songs, and sharing.
Today, at Relais Alberti, we bring that spirit into the present, carefully reinterpreted with taste and a touch of elegance.

An experience to live in the Citrus Courtyard
Every Monday from 7:00 PM, we welcome you to the green heart of our relais: the Citrus Courtyard, the hidden garden of Malamocco, where you can breathe a quiet and timeless atmosphere.
Waiting for you:
• Fresh cocktails and a selection of Venetian cicchetti to start the evening with flavor.
• Selected music with DJ set, accompanying the sunset hours and adding rhythm to conviviality.
• A limited number of guests, to maintain the intimate and authentic atmosphere that distinguishes us.
The cost of the evening is €20, including 1 cocktail and cicchetti. Subsequent drinks are at consumption.
Reservation is mandatory.
Entrance is from Fondamenta della Madonna, at the back of Relais Alberti.
